Responsibilities
Architect, design, and develop complex VBA solutions that go beyond macros — including multi-sheet automation, advanced error handling, and modular code design.
Build interactive Excel applications with user forms, dashboards, and dynamic reporting interfaces.
Integrate Excel with databases, APIs, and external systems, ensuring data consistency and performance.
Refactor and optimize existing VBA projects for speed, maintainability, and scalability.
Work closely with stakeholders to translate complex business logic into elegant technical solutions.
Establish and enforce best practices for version control, documentation, and testing of VBA codebases.
Requirements
5+ years of proven experience in Excel VBA development with expert-level coding skills.
Deep understanding of Excel object model, event-driven programming, and advanced automation.
Demonstrated ability to handle large and complex workbooks, performance tuning, and error handling.
Experience integrating Excel with SQL databases, APIs, and external data sources.
Strong command of Excel formulas, dynamic arrays, pivot tables, and data modeling.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a sharp attention to detail.
Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or Office Scripts.
Familiarity with Python, .NET, or other scripting languages for Excel or Office integration.
Understanding of software design patterns and modular architecture in VBA.
English advanced.
