The best markets
According to Accelerance’s Latin American Guide to Software Outsourcing, as many as seven Latin American countries are highly ready to tackle software development projects: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, México, Peru, and Uruguay.
Argentina and Brazil have a geographical advantage, being only one to two hours ahead of New York and four hours behind London, strategically placing them for working with a remote team or international clients. The rest of the bunch appeals more to US clients, being in one of its time zones.
Furthermore, all countries -with the exemption of Colombia- compare reasonably well in English proficiency. The region also has some of the best software talents outside the main bubbles (Silicon Valley or China).
